Frequently Asked Questions.

  • Finding the right therapist is a deeply personal decision, and I believe that therapy should be as unique as the individuals seeking it. Unlike larger clinics or firms, I work directly with every client, ensuring a truly personalized and collaborative approach to care.

With over 25 years of experience as a Registered Psychotherapist, I tailor each treatment plan to fit your specific needs, drawing from evidence-based modalities such as CBT, ACT, DBT, EMDR, and EFT. Whether you're seeking support for trauma, anxiety, depression, relationship challenges, or personal growth, I take the time to understand your unique experiences and goals, ensuring that therapy evolves with you.

In addition to individual therapy, I am committed to supporting families, couples, and individuals. My approach is rooted in compassion, clinical excellence, and a deep belief in the power of connection.

Choosing therapy is an important step, and I am here to provide a safe, non-judgmental space where you can heal, grow, and move forward with confidence. If you’re ready to begin your journey, I’d be honored to work with you.

  • Therapy can be a valuable tool for anyone looking to navigate life’s challenges, improve emotional well-being, or gain deeper self-understanding. If you’re feeling overwhelmed, struggling in your relationships, or simply wanting support in your personal growth, therapy can help. If you're unsure whether it’s the right fit, I’d be happy to discuss your concerns during an initial consultation.

  • Your first session is an opportunity for us to get to know each other. We’ll talk about what brings you to therapy, explore any challenges you’re facing, and discuss your goals. I’ll also share how I can support you in this process. This is a safe, welcoming space where you can share at your own pace—there’s no pressure to dive into anything before you’re ready.

  • Sessions typically last 50 minutes, though the frequency and duration of therapy will depend on your individual needs. Most clients meet with me weekly or biweekly, but we can determine what feels right for you.

  • I am a Registered Psychotherapist with the Ontario College of Registered Psychotherapists (CRPO), and many insurance plans cover psychotherapy services. I recommend checking with your provider to confirm your coverage.
